Juliana Conyer, Managing Editor and Content Journalist
Juliana Conyer is the Content Journalist and Storyteller for the Dragonfly Initiative. She has been with the organization since the fall of 2024 and is a founder of The Athlete’s Voice.
Conyer has been studying and practicing journalism since her freshman year of high school. As a junior, she was the Managing Editor for her school publication, and she became an Editor-in-Chief her senior year.
In the summer of 2024, Conyer was selected as the Illinois representative to attend the Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference in Washington, DC. There she was able to learn from professional journalists and study journalism in the capital. Additionally, she is the 2023 IHSA Yearbook Caption Writing state champion.
Conyer currently attends Northwestern University and is a student at the Medill School of Journalism. She plans to double major in journalism and political science.
